Here's a trick shared by Cypress on how to use Google to search and download music. This tip is very useful because it eliminates the use of any P2P or BitTorrent client software. Every computer should have a browser and any browser will do.

It's very easy. Just follow the few simple steps below.

1. Go to www.google.com

2. At the box where you search, type in this format.

?intitle:index.of? mp3 ***

The *** is for you to replace it with the artist and song title.

3. Click on the Google Search button.

4. Now you should see a list of all the websites that has the MP3 that you're looking for.

Here's a step-by-step example of searching for Beyonce and Jay-Z's "Deja Vu" MP3.

1. I visit google and type "?intitle:index.of? mp3 beyonce dejavu"

2. Here are the results. Not necessarily that the #1 result contains the MP3. Sometimes you have to try a few sites.

3.Found Beyonce - Deja Vu, but it's a freemasons club mix version.

4. Clicking on that link and it brought me to a site where I can start downloading the MP3.

5. Right click on the text that says "Download Now" and select "Save Target As" for Internet Explorer or "Save Link As" for Firefox. It will start downloading..

Record any sound on ur Computer

can be for example quite useful if you want to record conversations in Skype or Teamspeak or record a sound that you heard on a website on the internet. Yes, even streaming radio poses no problem but you should note that the following free tool is not capable of recognizing the beginning and end of songs. It just records for as long as The freeware that I’m speaking of is called MP3 My MP3 Recorder After installing the application you specify the source from where you want to record the audio from. You may select from the following sources: Phone Line, Microphone, Line In, CD Player, AUX, SPDIF, Stereo Mix and Mono Mix. Stereo Mix for instance should be a great selection for most purposes. Once that is done you should fine tune the recording level for best results.

To do so take a look at the bar on the right side of the program window which should not peak into the red area at all times. Once that is done click on settings to specify the bit rate for the sound that will be recorded (between 32 and 320). You may also set a time limit for the recording but the default is to record until you stop the recording.

If everything is set the way you want it to be you click on the (red) recording button to start the process. The buttons to stop and play the already recorded songs will become active once that process has started.

Some interesting Freeware Programmes

Some interesting freeware programs have been updated the last days and I would like to use the opportunity to write a short article about the ones that I have already mentioned here .
The first program worth mentioning is a new version of the Foxit PDF reader.
It is much faster than the Adobe Reader and optimized for performance. The newly released version is Foxit PDF Reader 2.0 final.

Next in line is a new version of CCleaner which supports not Microsoft Vista. It received some bug fixes and several routines have been optimized. CCleaner makes it pretty easy to delete all those temporary files and traces that many applications seem to create. Delete internet cache, history, cookies and much more with the click of the mouse button.

Vlite is a very interesting application for Windows Vista. It lets you uninstall components of Windows Vista that can’t be uninstalled by default resulting in a smaller and faster system. You can also create a image file of Windows Vista with removed components which is helpful when you reinstall the operating system.

We all know how irritating spyware is once infected on our computer. Your computer responding very slowly, your hard disk LED never goes off like as though some activity is going on every second, you get popups every minute, and your browser is impossible to use anymore! Notes: Takes seconds to complete scanning with Bazooka. Bazooka doesn't scan all your files as it only scans for 603 known objects.

Notes: Very BIG file size. 28MB to download. Has over 10000 target signatures. Able to scan spywares, adwares, dialer, virus, trackware, worms and trojans. Scanning takes not more than 20 seconds. A bit bulky program for what it does but still a good one.

12. Arovax AntiSpyware
Notes: Release date on 24-Jun-2006 which is quite old. Ran the LiveUpdate and detected no new signatures. Totally outdated and I suspect that this project has been stopped. It's a waste because I like the clean interface. No harm trying. Might remove old spywares but of course not the newer ones.

13. Evonsoft Advanced Spyware Remover Free Edition
Notes: Just like what the software says, it's pretty advanced! It has liveupdate, and lots of tools such as Active Ports, Net Sniffer and etc incorporated in it.

Notes: Have to wait 30 seconds for the program to launch. It is fully functional but you can remove the 30 seconds waiting time by paying USD19. Very basic interface.
